ONLINE SHOPPING FAQ
Some policies we want to go over for you to consider.
Shopping online isn’t for everyone. We’re ok with that. We understand that. I buy things online. Sometimes they look much better when they arrive and I’m so surprised and I’m like, ‘Wow! Looks much better than it did on the website!’ Other times I receive something and I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s so much smaller’ or ‘the color isn’t quite what I thought it was’ and that is just my buying online risk.
So before you decide to buy a puppy online you really have to be comfortable with the process. If you are really not an online shopper, maybe buying online isn’t for you, so there isn’t much we can do to change your feelings about buying online. However, if you are an avid online shopper like myself, here’s how it goes:
You are going to email me or call me and let me know which puppy you want. I prefer the call so that I can talk to my customers. You are going to sign the contract, we’ll send it to you by email or sometimes if it is working we can do the template online. You’re going to send 50% minimum deposit by bank wire.
Once you have decided when you want the puppy, you will tell me which airport is closest to you, what the person’s name is (who is going to be collecting the puppy) as their ID – otherwise they won’t get the dog – and their contact number and the address – it can be your address or the person-who-is-collecting-the-puppy’s address. The airline just demands that there is an address with the puppy. You can have an assistant pick up the dog but that assistant’s name is the one I need to have for the airline.
Then you will clear the rest of the payment. If you want you can pay all at once, or if you want we can just hold the puppy, for a 50% deposit we’ll hold the puppy for a week. Then the puppy is going to be taken to our vet and have her health certificate, and when she is ready to go at about 500 grams then we will book the flights, usually on the 1st and the 15th of the month.
Some airlines will not take live animals in certain weather conditions, there is nothing we can do about that. The puppy is not at 500 grams, there is nothing we can do about that. So we do our best to give you an idea of when you will receive your puppy. But again, it is a live animal and it needs to be understood that you might not get it on your birthday. If you really need it on the day of your birthday you should probably order way in advance, but if your birthday is on Friday, I probably can’t guarantee that I can get you the dog. However I have delivered dogs within 7 days, even as short as 4, but it is not something that I can promise. You as a buyer need to understand that we do not have a cancellation policy and, after the payment is made, that payment is not refundable.
